Brett Zbar is managing director and global head of life sciences at General Atlantic, a global investment leader that partners with visionary founders to build transformative businesses and scale innovation globally. General Atlantic also invests broadly across the life sciences sector, including therapeutics, life science tools and pharmaceutical services. Zbar previously was managing director at Foresite Capital and partner at Aisling Capital. In each role he has backed leading health care entrepreneurs and companies that have developed innovative therapeutics and services in the fields of cancer, rare disease, cardiometabolic disease, neuropsychiatry, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, clinical research services and other areas. Earlier, Zbar was associate principal in McKinsey & Company’s pharmaceuticals and medical products practice.
